A regular visa application through the embassy is no longer possible. All applicants must apply for an e-visa (electronic visa) online.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISA CATEGORIES

  • passport
    coloured copy of double page with personal data, at least valid for 6 months after journey, no temporary passports accepted

  • passport Picture
    biometric, photo requirements

  • proof of entry and exit
    e.g. flight reservation

  • hotel confirmation


    FOR TOURIST VISA

    FOR BUSINESS VISA

    additional to minimum requirements above

    • letter of invitation 
      from company in Tansania

    • company letter 
      from employer in Germany (sample)

    • tax certifcate (TIN)
      from company in Tansania

Further documents may be required, which will only be displayed during the application process.

E-Visa

We will be happy to obtain an E-Visa for Tanzania for you.

Please fill in the E-Visa Application Form linked below and send it to us by e-mail together with the following documents:

    coloured, first double page with personal data
  • passport picture
    coloured, biometric, photo requirements
  • booking confirmation
    of flight and hotel

  • company letter
    from employer in Germany
  • letter of invitation
    from company in Tanzania
  • tax certificate (TIN)
    from company in Tanzania

fees per person:
50,00 € to 250,00 € (visa fee, depends on purpose, see application form pages 2/3 and 3/3) 
+ 60,00 € (SERVISUM fee, plus VAT)
plus administration fee (4,50 €, incl. VAT, per order)

handling time: 
About one week, but varies depening on travel dates
