German citizens can apply for a visa waiver valid for 180 days when entering the country with a regular passport. This entitles the holder to multiple entries and a stay of up to 90 days within the validity period. The visa waiver is issued free of charge upon presentation of suitable proof of the reason for the trip, accommodation and return or onward travel tickets. This regulation applies to tourist and business trips at all border crossings and Doha airport. If you only have a provisional passport, you must apply for a visa through the embassy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISA CATEGORIES

  must be valid for at least another 6 months after the end of the trip
• Two original passport photos
  biometric, photo requirements
• Hotel reservation
• Non-German applicants: current registration certificate (if EU citizen) or copy of residence permit for Germany (if not an EU citizen)

Additional requirements for TOURIST VISAS

• Proof of financial means
  Original bank statements from the last 3 months and a copy for comparison (the originals will be returned)

Additional requirements for BUSINESS VISAS

• Business letter
  from the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce
