German citizens (and other nationalities) must apply for an e-visa (electronic visa) online. It is no longer possible to apply for the visa via the embassy nor getting a visa on arrival.

E-VISA


The application can be processed via the following website: https://evisa.rop.gov.om/ 

E-Visa for Oman allows for a single entry with a stay up to 10 days or 30 days or for multiple entries with a stay up to 30 days. The E-Visa is issued within one to two working days and is valid to enter within 30 days from the date of issue, so the visa should not be applied for too early.

PLEASE NOTE:

Technicians/mechanics etc. need a sponsor (business partner) in Oman. This sponsor must apply for the visa online at https://evisa.rop.gov.om for you. Please inquire with your client in Oman.

Please fill in the E-Visa Application Form linked below and send it to us by e-mail together with the following documents:

  • scan of your passport 
    coloured, first double page with personal data
  • passport picture
    coloured, biometric, no glasses
  • copy of residence permit
    if not an EU citizen

20,00 OMR, 50,00 OMR (visa fee, depending on type of visa)
+ 40,00 € (SERVISUM fee, plus VAT)
plus administration fee (4,50 €, incl. VAT, per order)
