Visa Applications / Entry Requirements: Gabon

German citizens and other nationalities can apply online for a permit for a visa on arrival. The visa fee must then be paid on site upon entry.

A permit can be requested for multiple entries with a validity of up to 6 months. Only entry via Leon Mba International Airport in Libreville is permitted with this permit.

We do NOT recommend applying for the visa on arrival permit, as there are often long delays in issuing it or it may not be issued at all. Please send the original documents for regular paper visas to SERVISUM.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL REGULAR PAPER VISAS

• Visa application (2x)
  in duplicate, see right
• Original passport
  original, must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip
• two original passport photos
  biometric, photo requirements
• proof of entry and exit
  e.g. flight booking
• proof of yellow fever vaccination
• non-German applicants: current registration certificate (if EU citizen) or copy of residence permit for Germany (if not an EU citizen)

Additional requirements for TOURIST VISA

• Hotel reservation

Additional requirements for BUSINESS VISA

• Invitation letter
  from the company in Gabon
• Secondment letter
  from the employer in Germany (sample)
