Visa Applications / Entry Requirements: Bangladesh

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL CATEGORIES OF VISAS

• Online visa application
  Fill out the application via visa.gov.bd
  You must accept the security warning. To do this, preferably use Internet Explorer or Opera.
  If you apply through SERVISUM, you can skip the “payment details” in the application.
  Please also note that the application must be submitted to the Embassy or SERVISUM within 7 days of its creation.
• Original passport
  must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip, no Israeli stamp
• Passport photo
  original, biometric, photo requirements
• Power of attorney

• Non-German applicants: current certificate of residence (if EU citizen) or copy of residence permit for Germany (if not an EU citizen)

Additional requirements for TOURIST VISAS

• Hotel booking
• Flight booking
• Letter of motivation
  from the traveler stating the purpose of the visit

Additional requirements for BUSINESS VISAS

• Letter of invitation
  from the company in Bangladesh, addressed to the embassy
• Secondment letter
  from the employer in Germany, addressed to the embassy (sample)
• Proof of previous visas/entries
  only necessary when applying for an annual visa with multiple entries
