Visa Applications / Entry Requirements: Algeria

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISA CATEGORIES

• Visa application (2x)
  in duplicate, select on the right
  The applications must be completed on a PC and in CAPITAL LETTERS; handwritten additions will not be accepted. The signature must be similar to that on the passport.
  Please do not print as a double page, only two single application pages will be accepted.
  To open the visa application for Berlin, you need the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC with the corresponding language pack (Font Pack).
• Passport
  original, must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip
• Two passport photos
  original, biometric, photo requirements
• Flight booking
• Proof of international health insurance
• only in BERLIN
  All applicants must provide proof of their private address, e.g. a copy of their identity card (front and back) or a current registration certificate in conjunction with a declaration that the applicant does not have an identity card.
• Non-German applicants:
  current registration certificate (if EU citizen) or copy of residence permit for Germany (if not an EU citizen)

Additional requirements for TOURISTENVISA

• Hotel booking
• certificate of employment
• for private travel:
  officially confirmed accommodation certificate of a person in Algeria with passport copy
• Copy of the last gas or electricity bill with proof of payment

Additional requirements for BUSINESS VISA

• Letter of invitation
  from the Algerian company, preferably in French
• Letter of secondment
  from the employer in Germany (sample)
  only in FRANKFURT in the original

Please note:

The days of stay in Algeria are limited to 180 days per year. The actual days of stay are not added up, but those approved in the previous visas. You should therefore ensure that you apply for a stay of only 30 days each time you apply for a visa.

Processing time (without guarantee):

The embassy processing time is at least 2 to 3 weeks. Currently it can also take 3 to 4 weeks. The date of entry stated in the application documents must correspond to the date in the flight booking and be after the processing time has expired.

The embassy is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in Berlin pick-up is only possible on Fridays. In Frankfurt, drop-off is only possible on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
