Visa Applications / Entry Requirements: UAE (United Arab Emirates)

Visas for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are only issued upon arrival (visa on arrival), temporary passports are not accepted!

Applicants who are not citizens of the countries listed below must obtain an (electronic) visit visa via a “sponsor” in the UAE (e.g. hotel or business partner) before departure. For this purpose, the sponsor requires a legible scan of the passport.

Citizens of the following states/countries do not require an electronic visit visa obtained in advance, but a regular (not a provisional!) passport that is valid for at least 6 months.

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Vatican City
