Visa Applications / Entry Requirements: South Sudan

Since October 2020, German citizens and other nationalities have been able to apply for an eVisa (electronic visa) for South Sudan. For more information, please see “eVisa”.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISA CATEGORIES

• Visa application
  see right
• Passport
  original, must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip, at least 3 free pages
• two original passport photos
  biometric, photo requirements
• Proof of entry and exit
  e.g. flight reservation
• hotel booking
• Yellow fever vaccination
  Proof of e.g. copy of vaccination certificate
• Non-German applicants: current registration certificate (if EU citizen) or a copy of the residence permit for Germany (if not an EU citizen)

• Secondment letter
  from the employer in Germany (sample letter)
