From February 11, 2026, German citizens and citizens of 28 other countries will require an electronic travel authorization (eTA) for tourist and business travel for stays of up to 30 days. The stay can be extended on site for a further 30 days. All other travelers must apply for an eVisa. For more information, see “eVisa.”

Residence, student and transit visas must still be applied for via Mozambican missions abroad; the Embassy of Mozambique in Berlin provides information on how to do this.
