From February 11, 2026, German citizens and citizens of 28 other countries will require an electronic travel authorization (eTA) for tourist and business travel for stays of up to 30 days. The stay can be extended on site for a further 30 days. All other travelers must apply for an eVisa. For more information, see “eVisa.”

Residence, student and transit visas must still be applied for via Mozambican missions abroad; the Embassy of Mozambique in Berlin provides information on how to do this.

eVisa on Arrival and ETA

We would be happy to obtain an On Arrival Visa or ETA for Mozambique for you.

Fill out the eVisa form linked below and send it to us by email with the following documents:

Scan of your passport
in colour, first double page with personal data
Passport photo
in colour, biometric, without glasses
Proof of departure
e.g. flight booking
Hotel reservation

Commercial License
of the company in Mozambique
Invitation
of the company in Mozambique
"Terms of responsibility"
of the person/company in Mozambique
ID/residence title
of the person signing the invitation

Depending on the reason for travelling, further documents may be required.

Fees per person:

Visa fee
+ € 60.00 (SERVISUM fee, plus VAT)
plus administration fee (€ 4.50, incl. VAT, per order)
