German citizens can usually get a visa on arrival. If you want to get the visa in advance, you have to apply for it at the embassy in person.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISA CATEGORIES

must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip - Original passport photo
biometric, photo requirements - Non-German applicants: current certificate of residence (if EU citizen) or a copy of the residence permit for Germany (if not an EU citizen)

Additional requirements for BUSINESS VISAS
- Invitation letter
from the company in Lebanon - Original secondment letter
from the employer in Germany (sample)
