German citizens can apply online for a visa on arrival before their trip. At the point of entry, further personal data will be collected from the traveler (e.g. fingerprints) and the visa will be entered in the passport.

German citizens can apply online for a visa on arrival before their trip. At the point of entry, further personal data will be collected from the traveler (e.g. fingerprints) and the visa will be entered in the passport.
Entry with this visa is only possible at the airports in Douala and Yaoundé.

The following documents must be carried when applying for the visa on arrival upon entry:
- Proof of payment of the visa fee
- Visa Approval Letter
- Original passport (valid for at least 6 months after departure)
- Yellow fever vaccination certificate
- Certified invitation or accommodation certificate
- flight ticket or reservation
