Visa Applications / Entry Requirements: Bahrain
German citizens (and other nationalities) traveling as tourists or on business (to meetings) receive a visa on arrival for a stay of up to 14 days. This can also be applied for in advance. Further information can be found under “eVisa”.
If the stay is longer than 14 days, a so-called e-visa must be applied for (30 or 90-day stay, depending on the category).
eVisa and visa on arrival
German citizens and those of other nationalities must apply for an eVisa (electronic visa) online if they wish to stay in Bahrain for more than 14 days. This entitles them to a stay of up to 30 or 90 days. The validity ranges from 3 months to 5 years, depending on your preference.
You can also apply for a visa in advance upon arrival. This entitles you to stay for up to 14 days and is valid for 90 days from the date of issue for a single entry.
