Please note:
- Commercial documents such as commercial invoices and certificates of origin must be pre-certified in the original by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the German-Libyan Chamber of Commerce. SERVISUM will be happy to do this for you
- The invoice number must be noted in field 5 (remarks field) on the UZ (the same applies to LC numbers)
- The number of the UZ must be noted on the commercial invoice
- A health certificate is required when importing food, and a halal certificate is also required for meat products.
- A current conversion must be enclosed for foreign currencies (commercial invoice).
- For commercial invoices and certificates of origin, two yellow copies of the certificate of origin and two copies of the commercial invoice with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce stamp must be submitted to the embassy (no fees are charged for this).
- For other documents, a certified copy or a second copy of the original document must be submitted to the embassy (no fees are charged for this).
- A cover letter to the Embassy and to the Ghorfa on company letterhead is required, authorizing us to submit the documents there and to pick them up again.
- A translation into Arabic is no longer required.
