Visa application / entry requirements: Kap Verde

German citizens who travel as tourists do not need a visa for a stay up to 30 days, they must register online at the Policia National de Cabo Verde up to 5 days before the trip.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISA CATEGORIES

  • visa application form
    see on the right

  • passport
    original, at least valid for 6 months after journey

  • passport picture
    original, biometric, photo requirements

  • proof of entry and exit
    e.g. flight reservation

    non-German applicants:
  • current residence registration (Meldebescheinigung) (if EU citizen) or
  • valid residence permit for Germany (if not EU citizen)
