September 2024
from 02.09.2024 to 31.12.2025, all applicants who apply for a single or double entry visa within 180 days are exempt from submitting a fingerprint.

August 2024
New application procedure since 26.08.2024. All applicants must create an account on the Application Centre website to complete the application https://www.visaforchina.cn/globle/. All required documents must be uploaded and the application can only be submitted by us after preliminary review and approval by the Application Centre.

July 2024
Nationals of Poland, New Zealand and Australia are exempt from the visa requirement up to and including 31 December 2025 for business activities, tourism, visiting family and friends and transit up to a stay of 15 days. - Does not apply to the temporary passport -

May 2024
Extension of the visa exemption mentioned below for 12 nationalities up to and including 31 December 2025

March 2024
Citizens of Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Belgium and Luxembourg are exempt from the visa requirement for business activities, tourism, family and friends visits and transit up to a stay of 15 days from 14.03.2024 until 30.11.2024. - does not apply to the temporary passport -

December 2023
Citizens of Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Malaysia are exempt from the visa requirement for business activities, tourism, family and friends visits and transit up to a stay of 15 days from 01.12.2023 until 30.11.2024. - does not apply to the temporary passport -

For all travelers who wish to stay longer than 15 days in China or who need to apply for categories Z, F, S1, Q1, C or X, the following regulations continue to apply.

Does not include fingerprints given previously (at an airport for instance)! 

Your fingerprints will be recorded for a maximum period of 5 years concerning your passport. During this time, you can use our regular visa service as usual and do not have to appear in person again.

A reappearance in the Visa Application Service Center before the end of the 5 year period is only necessary if you apply for the visa with a different, or new passport.
