German citizen do not need a visa for a max. stay up to 30 days. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISA CATEGORIES

  • visa application form
    fill in online via https://visa.mfa.uz/

  • passport
    original, at least valid for 6 months after journey

  • passport picture
    original, biometric, photo requirements

    non-German applicants: 
  • current residence registration (Meldebescheinigung) (if EU citizen) or
  • valid residence permit for Germany (if not EU citizen)

    FOR BUSINESS VISA

    additional to minimum requirements above

    • letter of invitation 
      from company in Uzbekistan
      only when applying for multiple or express visa

HANDLING TIME (nlow)
ordinary: minimum one week
express: about 3 to 5 days (only for business visa up to 3 months)
embassy closed on Thursdays

E-VISA


German citizens and 76 other nationals are also entitled to apply for a so-called E-Visa (electronic visa) online.

E-Visa for Uzbekistan are valid for 90 days after issuance and allows for a single, double or multiple entry with a stay up to 30 days. It should be applied for at least 2 weeks before the planned date of departure.

An application with temporary passports is not possible!
