Visa application / entry requirements: Uganda

Every traveller must apply for an authorisation for a Visa on Arrival online before travelling. At the point of entry, further personal data (e.g. fingerprints) are then recorded and the visa is then entered into the passport.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISA CATEGORIES

  • application
    via https://visas.immigration.go.ug

  • passport
    coloured copy of page with personal data, at least valid for 6 months after journey

  • passport picture
    biometric, photo requirments

  • yellow fever vaccination
    copy of vaccination certificate

    non-EU applicants: 
  • copy of valid residence permit for Germany

Please fill in the E-Visa Application Form linked below and send it to us by e-mail together with the following documents:

  • scan of your passport 
    coloured, first double page with personal data
  • passport picture
    coloured, biometric, no glasses
  • proof of yellow fever vaccination
  • booking confirmation of flight

    if business:
  • letter of invitation


    Depending on purpose of visit, further information might be required.

50,00 € to 150,00 (visa fee, depending on type of visa) 
+ 60,00 € (SERVISUM fee, plus VAT)
plus administration fee (4,50 €, incl. VAT, per order)
