  • passport
    original, at least valid for 6 months after journey

  • passport picture
    original, biometric, photo requirements

  • current residence registration (Meldebescheinigung) (if EU citizen) or
  • valid residence permit for Germany (if not EU citizen


    • FOR TOURIST VISA

    • confirmation letter for tourists
      issued by a Turkmen tourist organization

    FOR BUSINESS VISA

    additional to minimum requirements above

    • letter of invitation
      issued by the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs

HANDLING TIME (nlow)
ordinary: about 10 days
express: about 3 to 5 days
embassy closed on Wednesdays
