Germans and many other citizens do not need a visa to enter Turkey.
A Visa on Arrival for nationalities which require a visa is no longer possible.

E-VISA
Citizen of the following countries are allowed to apply for an E-Visa: click here
IMPORTANT: These citizen can only apply for an E-Visa if they enter and exit by Turkish Airlines or Pegasus Airlines or Onur Air.
If you are not entiteled to apply for an E-Visa, you must apply for the regular visa in person through the embassy or a consulate.

Please attach the SERVISUM-Order Form to your assignment for regular visa.
