Travel for  private visiting, tourism and business purposes lasting up to 30 days no longer requires a visa for German nationals as of 1 May 2023. For a longer stay they need to apply for an e-Visa on Arrival.

Residence, student and transit visas must still be applied for through the Mozambican missions abroad; the Embassy of Mozambique in Berlin can provide the relevant information.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR E-VISA ON ARRIVAL

  • application

    coloured copy of page with personal data, at least valid for 6 months after journey

  • passport picture
    biometric, photo requirments

  • proof of exit
    e.g. flight reservation

  • hotel reservation

    non-EU applicants: 
  • copy of valid residence permit for Germany

    • company letter
      from employer in Germany (sample)

    • letter of invitation 
      from company in Mozambique

    • Copy ID-Card or passport of the signatory of the invitation

      from company in Mozambique

    Depending on purpose of visit, further information might be required.

50,00 € to 150,00 (visa fee, depending on type of visa) 
+ 60,00 € (SERVISUM fee, plus VAT)
plus administration fee (4,50 €, incl. VAT, per order)
